About
I have been teaching and managing courses in English and English for Academic Purposes for speakers of other languages for over 17 years.
At Ji8¸£ÀûÍø, I am the Course Director of the Pre-sessional English Courses.
My specific research areas are the analysis of creative academic genres; corpus analysis and multimodal analysis and I am currently working on my PhD with Birmingham University. I am also interested in course and assessment design and the development of online resources for learning.

My PhD thesis working title is Assessing Design: A Multimodal Corpus Analysis of Student Writing. It focuses on analyzing the linguistic and visual features of a 1 million word corpus of Postgraduate Design assessments.
