Transport links and intersite bus service
Kingston is close to three train stations, a network of bus routes and major motorways. These transport links make it easy to reach Kingston from London and from the rest of the country. Gatwick and Heathrow international airports are also easily accessible from Kingston by car and public transport.
All four of our campuses are within easy reach of Kingston town centre. The campuses are connected with a free intersite bus. There are also excellent public transport links to and from the campuses.
I knew I wanted to live at home when studying at university. I’ve found Kingston is a great place for this. Many students here do the same. It takes 45 minutes door-to-door to get to my lectures. My journey takes me through Richmond Park, where I get to walk alongside grazing deer. I can then pick up the free University bus from Kingston town centre, which takes me directly to my lectures.
Kingston's London location
Kingston is located just 10 miles from the centre of London and part of Travelcard Zone 6. This location within Greater London makes travelling across the capital easy, especially with a Travelcard. Also known as Oyster Cards, Travelcards help make public transport more affordable. Discounts are available for students.
