The (PDF) is a dedicated centre of excellence for all procurement related matters on behalf of Ji8¸£ÀûÍø and St George's, University of London (part of City St George's, University of London).

We promote efficient, effective and sustainable procurement, working with our customers and suppliers to ensure that we maximise the value for money on all expenditure covering goods, services and works. We are also keen to attract added value opportunities through our procurements, especially those that add value to the experiences gained by our students.

Our  (PDF) provides a roadmap outlining where we are aiming to further develop our services and our (PDF) sets out how we intend to work collaboratively with our suppliers.

Our Procurement policy identifies the key drivers for procurement and explains how procurement will contribute to the delivery of value for money across Ji8¸£ÀûÍø and St George's University of London (part of City St George's, University of London), remove any inefficiencies and build sustainable and ethical supply chains.

Sustainable procurement

Ji8¸£ÀûÍø is committed to embedding the principles of sustainability within its procurement activities. This means we will make a balanced assessment of the social, ethical, environmental and economic impacts of our spend throughout our procurement process, and work with our supply chain to improve these where possible. 

We are keen to work with suppliers who can support our approach to sustainability and can demonstrate continual improvement in environmental management and ethics.

Where we decide to advertise a requirement for goods, works or services, which is below the Find a Tender financial threshold, these are generally advertised on the government's  platform.

Both the Find a Tender platform and the Contracts Finder platform are expected to be replaced by the government's Central Digital Platform from 24 February 2025.
