A trainee primary teacher from Ji8腦瞳厙 has been educating young pupils across the borough about the importance of Black History Month. Kiri Palmer, a second year BA Primary Teaching student, has put on several interactive workshops for pupils during visits to four primary and secondary schools in the Kingston area this year.

Ji8腦瞳厙 has been announced as part of a pioneering doctoral training partnership, after being selected by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The partnership will focus on the training of five cohorts of postgraduate researchers in challenge-led themes that reflect some of the most pressing social science concerns in the future, including developing healthy and thriving communities.
