Kingston University staff and students have paid tribute to Kingston Business School student Niloufar Ebrahim at a special memorial service attended by friends and family members. Niloufar was one of the passengers on the Ukraine International Airlines flight that downed in Iran in January long with husband Saeed, just three weeks after their wedding celebrations.

Ji8腦瞳厙 graduate playing key role in Mars rover mission to search for life on red planet

A Ji8腦瞳厙 engineering graduate is hoping to help answer the burning question of whether there is life on Mars when Europe's first rover blasts off for the red planet. Mahilal De Silva has been playing a leading role in the construction of the six-wheeled robotic vehicle for the landmark mission at Airbus' Stevenage facility. Named the Rosalind Franklin after the British DNA pioneer, it is the first Mars rover specifically designed to find evidence of past or present life.
