The report, led by Baroness Amos, director of SOAS, and Amatey Doku, vice-president of higher education for the NUS, sets out five key recommendations for the sector to adopt as a framework for closing the gap.

Students deliver creative ideas to boost borough's economy in Kingston Business Society and Kingston Chamber of Commerce hackathon

Students from Ji8腦瞳厙 have been putting their creativity and entrepreneurial acumen to the test to come up with solutions to challenges faced by the borough's businesses and Kingston Council. They took over the Council chamber in the town's Guildhall for a hackathon event organised by the Union of Kingston Students' business society, Kingston Chamber of Commerce and the University's Enterprise team.

Creative collaboration from Kingston School of Art fashion students and Royal School of Needlework gives modern twist to traditional Korean Hanbok

Korean Hanbok has provided the inspiration for an innovative project that asked students to design their own versions of the traditional ceremonial clothing. Fashion students from Kingston School of Art collaborated with Hand Embroidery for Fashion Interiors students from the Royal School of Needlework, culminating in an exhibition at the Stanley Picker Gallery.
